3 Essential Oils that could harm your Dog_Part 2!

3 Essential Oils that could harm your Dog_Part 2!

I hope you all enjoyed part 1. If not, you can find it here.

For part 2,

I want to go over Cloves, Garlic, and Horseradish.

1. Cloves

a. Clove essential oils should not be used around dogs. Clove oil can contain eugenol, which is also known as a type of pesticide, and it is uncertain how much is in each bottle. Clove essential oils should not be used as an oral application or licked in any way. Try your best to remember that it is a type of pesticide and can do great harm to your furbaby in high doses.

2. Garlic

. Garlic is only toxic if consumed in high dosages. It can lead to damaged red blood cells. It can also cause anemia and death. The key is to know the correct dosage for your furbaby, and again, it should not be given all the time.

3. Horseradish

. Horseradish is a spicy oil. Horseradish is a spicy root. For example, wasabi has horseradish in its ingredients. It is not poisonous, but it can cause issues to your furbaby digestive system. It can cause them to have symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea. In my opinion, please keep it away.

We all try our best to keep our furbabies safe. I hope this helped increase your knowledge in 3 more essential oils. Remember also to consult your local veterinarian about any essential oils. Understanding your pup and knowing what they are allergic to is vital for their safety.
